Here are a couple of upcoming events that might interest you...
The Embassy of Canada
There is still time to sign up! Break away from watching the Vancouver Olympics to join us on Monday, February 22nd as we meet with the Canadian Ambassador's right hand man for an information session and Q&A, and receive a guided tour of the embassy and its gallery. If you have a question about border regulations, international affairs, culture, history, hosting the Olympics, or even just how to work/intern at an embassy, please consider attending.
The Gap Year- Options After Graduation!
Taking a gap year (also known as a year abroad, year out, year off, bridging year, time off and time out) refers to taking a year off from formal studying to do something else. Many people take a gap year before starting college or graduate school.
Learn about your gap year options after graduation at The Gap Year Night! Join representatives and speakers from Peace Corps, the JET Program, Teach for America, Fulbright Scholars and AEISIC. Representatives from the Career Center, Office of Scholarships and Fellowships, and the University Counseling Center will help connect you with available on campus resources.
Date: Tuesday, February 23rd @ 6:00-7:30pm
Location: South Hall Community Room
RSVP: mclark28@gwmail.gwu.edu by Sunday, February 21st to reserve a spot.
Have a great week!
